Do you offer comprehensive services? We provide you with a complete approach to your whole interconnected biological system, rather than a single part of the body. Our clinicians can order comprehensive testing that goes beyond traditional lab tests to look closely at the full functioning of systems such as your thyroid, heart, metabolic health, and hormones.
-
Can your physicians explain to me why I feel the way I do?Our clinicians will go over your medical history, and will order tests that can help illuminate the role of vitamins, minerals, and toxins on your well-being, as well as the imbalances that can sometimes contribute to depression, anxiety, brain fog, insomnia, attention deficits, mood swings, and more.
-
Where are your services available? We have 2 locations in Regina, Saskatchewan and Victoria, BC. Regina, Saskatchewan Office 2706 13th Avenue Regina, SK, S4T 1N3 Victoria, BC Office

How do you compare to my annual physical? Our practitioners perform complete physical exams and take complete medical histories. We suggest that all clients obtain a complete physical exam once a year (including prostate, breast and/or gynecological) by your medical doctor or your naturopathic doctor. Depending on your current symptoms and medical history, your naturopathic doctor may recommend additional assessments, (e.g. orthopedic, stress or nutritional assessments).
-
Why don't I get tested already for things that your practitioners test for?The traditional insurance route typically requires a specific symptom or condition to warrant comprehensive testing. We find it backward to require the existence of a condition to test for that same condition. To get all the tests we would order, you would need to work with a doctor willing to request these tests. Doctors rarely have the time needed to review this many tests, let alone to understand and explain your results to you. They also want to avoid creating financial burdens on their patients who may be billed for any advanced lab tests.
-
Who can be a patient? We see patients of all ages. We will help you understand your health today and how it changes over time. The earlier you establish a baseline with a single set of test results, the easier it will be to know your body’s trends and ways to help take control of your future.
-
Do you replace my current doctor? No, we do not necessarily need to replace your primary care doctor. Instead, we makes you a more powerful patient. Our comprehensive services and lab tests provide you with detailed insights that can be shared with your doctor. Bringing a history of lab test results to your next doctor visit may reduce the need for follow-up tests and enable a more productive appointment. We are here to empower you to be your own advocate.
-
Do my biomarkers fluctuate naturally?Your body is ever-changing. Your eating, sleeping, stress, and outdoor exposure all impact your body. Regular testing allows you to understand how your health is changing and therefore what you can do to improve it.
-
Are your tests the same that are ordered by my primary doctor?Yes and No. While the tests that we order may include the gold-standard lab tests trusted by doctors and specialists, some of the tests we order are at the cutting-edge of medicine and have not yet been widely adopted by traditional primary care doctors.
-
Why are lab tests so expensive? Most of the time, insurance will negotiate with a lab and pay a reduced amount off a higher price. The problem is, if insurance is not paying or negotiating the price downward, people are usually stuck with the high price tags on testing.
-
How soon can I get labs?Typically within just a few days. After your initial appointment, we will schedule your first tests.
-
What do you test for? After our Initial Visit Appointment with you, we will order the appropriate labs that will be important for revealing the deepest understanding of your health.
-
I recently got lab tests, should I still schedule with you?Using older lab tests to understand your current health is typically not recommended, as your health is ever-changing. Plus, we offer comprehensive lab testing that makes it easy to understand your current health status, and we will also compare your most recent results with past results to reveal trends.
-
How long do lab results take? After each lab visit, you can anticipate receiving your results within 2-3 weeks. Once all your lab results are ready, your clinician will review them, after which we will reach out to you to schedule your follow-up visit so we can go over your results and a treatment plan with you.
-
How will I know when my lab results are ready?Once we receive your lab results, we will notify you through email, text, or phone so that you can schedule your follow-up visit with us to go over your results.
-
Do you work with insurance? We can direct bill most insurance companies. Please bring your insurance information for this option. We also accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit Cards, Cheques and Cash. We also offer seniors over the age of 65 a 10% off discount for their visits.
-
Will my insurance reimburse me for your services or labs?Terms vary from provider to provider, so we recommend contacting your insurance company in advance to determine if your visits with us qualify. Please note: we can provide detailed receipts that include a breakdown of costs, date of payment, date of service, and ordering clinician.
-
Do you test for Thyroid function?Yes. We can order a complete and comprehensive set of thyroid tests.
-
Do you test for Heart Disease?A recent study showed that nearly 75% of patients hospitalized for a heart attack had cholesterol levels that would indicate they were not at high risk for a cardiovascular event, based on current national cholesterol guidelines. We go beyond the traditional lipid panel with advanced tests like Lipoprotein A, Apolipoprotein B, and Lipoprotein Particle Size. Most cardiologists today agree that traditional lipid panels are an incomplete way to monitor your cardiac health.
-
Can you test for Heavy Metals?Yes. We can order tests for heavy metals, such as mercury and lead.
