The key principle in Osteopathic therapy is viewing the body as an interconnected unit, through the relationship between structure and function in the body. Osteopathic practitioners base their practice on the principle that pain or imbalance in one area can be connected to disease in other parts of the body, and that all systems can work together.
It is recognized within this practice that optimal health is dependent on the integration of the whole system through homeostatic mechanisms. It is a drug-free, safe, and effective patient-centred manual therapy. Palpitation and manual techniques are employed to influence muscles, joints, nerves, connective tissue, circulation and internal organs.
Benefits of treatment include improved strength and mobility, reduced pain, new tools and strategies for maintaining wellness, and helping the body heal.
Assessment
Comprehensive assessment consists of the Osteopathic practitioner evaluating posture, movement patterns, joint mobility, among throughout the body.
Treatment
After the assessment, a customized treatment plan is applied through a combination of gentle osteopathic techniques. The goal of these techniques is to bring improvement to functional mobility, circulation, and alignment, supporting long-term health and recovery from injury or disease.

Meet Your Practitioner
Céline is a certified osteopathic manual practitioner (OMP). She graduated from the Montreal Academy of Osteopathy (Quebec) in 2017. She also holds a C.O.S. certificate in sports osteopathy from EPOQ in Montreal. Drawing on these skills, she works synergistically on the body, mind, and speech, using deeply humanistic manual techniques. Her areas of expertise include: cranial, temporomandibular joint (TMJ), respiratory, visceral, urogynecological, pediatric-obstetric, musculoskeletal, hormonal, and somato-emotional.
Her athletic abilities led her to compete in various sports from a young age, including soccer, tennis, rugby, martial arts, and track and field (at the school, university, national, and international levels). When she left France, she chose to settle in Quebec for the convenience of the language, facilitating her integration into Canada, her adopted country. Always seeking new adventures, Céline set her sights on Vancouver Island in search of personal alignment, fueled by her love for the ocean, nature, and new cultures. In line with her final thesis, which focused on the essential dimension of the body-mind-environment connection, Céline's approach is dedicated to releasing emotional trauma that manifests as musculoskeletal restrictions. She offers a wide range of treatments to help you with various conditions, including migraines, tinnitus, bruxism, pulmonary dysfunction, heart coherence, digestive disorders, gynecological and pelvic issues, urinary problems, urological issues, and hormonal imbalances, regardless of your age.
Céline will be pleased to serve you in her native language, French, as well as in English.
